Woodland is a typical small rural village where agriculture provides a living for a number of the villagers. The village commands outstanding views of the Cumbrian Mountains to the west, the moors of North Yorkshire to the south and on a clear day the East Coast and North Sea.

Equipment: The hall has adequate chairs and tables and there is ample crockery and cutlery available.
Parking: There is no designated car park but roadside parking is available.

Directions
Head from Barnard Castle along the B6278 (passing Glaxo). Take the first right signposted Copley. Follow the road to Copley then follow B6282 to Woodland. The village hall is on the left hand side of the road coming from this direction.
