Winston Village Hall

Village Hall - Main Shot

The Village

Winston is conveniently situated between Barnard Castle and Darlington on the rocky banks of the River Tees. It is a pleasant village with a caravan site and a bridge that was made famous by the TV series ‘A Piece of Cake’ in 1988 when a Spitfire was flown under the 100 feet semi circle bridge at 200 mph!

The Hall

Winston Village Hall was built in 1954. The size and layout of Winston Village Hall makes it an ideal choice for private and business functions.

The hall is available for hire for:

• Meetings/Seminars
• Social Events
• Fairs and Sales
• Rehearsals
• Training
• Functions
• Parties
• Stage Productions/Concerts
• Sports Classes

Regular activities ongoing at the hall include Staindrop YFC, pipes and drums band, lunch club and First Thursday Club.
