Dalton and Gayles Village Hall

The Village

Dalton and Gayles Village Hall is situated at the edge of the village of Dalton and a mile away from the village of Gayles, just off the A66 and lies equal distance between the towns of Richmond and Barnard Castle.

The Hall

Dalton and Gayles Village Hall has just finished the latest and most expensive renovation work in its illustrious history. The Hall is now fit for the 21st Century with newly insulated walls and ceilings, energy-efficient electric radiators, low-energy light fittings, a coat of paint and a varnished wood floor giving this former RAF building a fantastic new lease of life.

    Gardeners' Question Time

    7:00 pmDalton & Gayles Village Hall01833 621236£6.50

Dalton & Gayles Yorkshire Countrywomen are holding a Gardeners' Question Time on Thursday 17 October in Dalton & Gayles Memorial hall with Martin Fish and Sarah Hopps.  Doors open at 7pm and the cost is £6.50 including interval refreshments.  Tickets from 01833 621236.

Martin has been gardening since he was a boy helping his Grandma in her traditional cottage garden. He has since gone on to broaden his horticultural field by training and working in a council parks department then moving on to own his own landscape/nursery business. He writes for various garden publications and is a garden expert on BBC Radio. He loves nothing more than sharing his knowledge and talking about all things gardening.  Sarah Hopps is well known in gardening circles; she does gardening tours and is a regular speaker at Harrogate Flower Show
