The Village
Cockfield is an old mining village close to the town of Bishop Auckland. Parts of the village are a Conservation Area and it is close to Cockfield Fell which boasts a rich historic past with early settlements going back to the Roman Times.
The Hall
The hall is available for hire for:

Features
Rooms: Main Hall 7.5 x 15 metres plus ancillary kitchen and toilets.
Heating: Available throughout main hall
Maximum Capacity: 50 in main hall
Facilities: The hall has two unisex toilets and a well equipped kitchen.
Equipment: There are adequate chairs and tables and ample crockery and cutlery is available. The hall also has a pool table and a TV, DVD player and CD player.
Parking: No designated car park; three spaces on rough ground in front of the hall plus on street parking alongside yard.
Access: The main entrance, foyer and main hall are accessible to all.
Hire Charges: £10.00 per hour for first hour, £5.00 per hour thereafter.

Come along on Tuesday between 11: and 14:00 or Friday 10:00 and 16:00 to have a coffee and a cake with our Community Development Worker, Kate. Kate is on hand to offer information, advice and guidance on all things relating to benefit reform and the things that get in the way of feeling happy.
This is a completely free of charge service but why not experience some of our delicious home cooked specials while in speaking to Kate. -
