The size and layout of Barningham Village Hall makes it an ideal choice for private and business functions. The hall is available for hire for meetings/small conferences, training, parties, sports classes, functions, social events and more.

Regular activities ongoing in the hall include language and art classes.

Facilities

  • Rooms: Main Hall 36’ x 18’ Meeting Room 16’ x 13’ and there is also a kitchen.
  • Maximum Capacity: Main Hall – 70 people / Meeting Room – 20 people
  • Hire Charges: Please contact the hall directly.
  • Facilities: The modern kitchen facilities include fridge, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and cookers. There is a soft play area situated outside the hall that has a soft rubber surface. There are also toilet facilities accessible to all.
  • Equipment: There are adequate chairs and tables and ample crockery and cutlery is available.
  • Parking: There is no designated car park but roadside and around the green parking is available.
  • Inclusive access: The hall has level access, an accessible WC and a hearing induction loop.
  • Heating: Available throughout the hall

The Village

Barningham is a picturesque village on the edge of rolling moor land. It is located to the south of the A66 between Barnard Castle and Scotch Corner. The village is dominated by its huge greens and boasts beautiful views of North Yorkshire and across Teesdale to the Stanhope Moors.
