New Monthly Information And Advice Sessions from Age Concern Durham County in Teesdale

Beginning on 9th June 2010 Age Concern's Mobile Information and Advice Service will be holding monthly "drop in" sessions at the Witham Hall in Barnard Castle - the second Wednesday of the month- between 9.30 and 11.30 am. This replaces the sessions which have previously been held on the third Wednesday. A further session in Teesdale is held on the second Thursday (from 10th June) from 10.00am - 12noon at UTASS in Middleton in Teesdale. On offer is general advice and information on local services, form filling and benefits, "Message in a Bottle" Scheme and any other issues which may affect people over 50. If detailed enquiries- on benefits for example- cannot be dealt with there and then, details can be taken and passed on to Age Concern's experts. The service is free and entirely confidential.
