TVHC Training

Teesdale Village Halls Consortium has secured funding from the North Pennine Dales Leader programme towards a TVHC Training project that will run in the North Pennine Dales Leader area over the next two years.

The funding has allowed Teesdale Village Halls Consortium to become a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health registered training centre and over the next two years the Consortium will run a regular programme of courses in the following accredited qualifications:

  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering
  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work
  • CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

Local tutors have been contracted by the Consortium to deliver the qualifications. The North Pennine Dales Leader area covers Teesdale, Weardale, and some areas of Derwentside and South Tynedale and over the two years courses will be arranged in all of these areas.

  • Friday 17th September 9.00am - 5.00pm Copley Village Hall
  • Tuesday 5th October 9.00am - 5.00pm St Thomas Church Hall, Stanhope
  • Monday 18th and Tuesday 19th October 4.00pm - 8.00pm (both evenings must be attended) Whorlton Village Hall
  • Tuesday 2nd November 9.00am - 5.00pm Gainford Village Hall

CIEH Level 2 Award in Food Safety in Catering

  • Friday 24th September 9.00am - 5.00pm Ingleton Village Hall
  • Thursday 7th October 9.00am - 5.00pm St Thomas Church Hall, Stanhope
  • Tuesday 12th and Wednesday 13th October 4.00pm - 8.00pm (both evenings must be attended Marwood Social Centre
  • Thursday 4th November 9.00am - 5.00pm Woodland Village Hall

CIEH Level 2 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace

  • Monday 27th and Tuesday 28th September 4.00 - 8.00pm (both evenings must be attended) Stainton Village Hall
  • Wednesday 20th October 9.00am - 5.00pm St Thomas Church Hall, Stanhope
  • Monday 1st November 9.00am - 5.00pm Middleton in Teesdale Village Hall

Places are subject to learners meeting eligibility criteria.

All courses cost £50.00 per person which includes registration, certification, course book, lunch and refreshments.
