The Hall

The village hall is located in the centre of Gilling West and adjoining it is the John Ross Suite Education and Conference Centre which is available for hire by schools, colleges and businesses.

The size and layout of Gilling West Village Hall make it an ideal choice for private and business functions.

The hall is available for hire for:

Regular activities ongoing in the hall iclude yoga, badminton, IT classes and Italian.

Rooms: Main Hall with stage 40' x 90', kitchen, meeting room and computer room.

Maximum Capacity: Main Hall – 100, meeting room - 24, computer room - 13

Facilities: The modern kitchen facilities include fridge, freezer, cooker and water boiler. There is also a facility to hire tablecloths. The John Ross suite has a seminar room with interactive whiteboard, ceiling digital projector and wireless broadband access, and an IT suite with 5 computers, 6 laptop computers and printer/copier/scanner. There are also toilet facilities available to all.

Equipment: There are adequate chairs and tables and ample crockery and cutlery is available.

Parking: There is a designated car park with six parking spaces and roadside parking opposite the main entrance.

Access: There is access for all into the hall, but there are three steps up to the stage.

John Ross Suite Room A (meeting room) £10 hour/£20 half day/£35 full day
John Ross Suite Room B (ICT Room) £12.50 hour/£35 half day/£65 full day
Combined Rooms £45 half day/£80 full day
Education rate £15 per session per room
