Bane and Bane 2 features multi-award winning actor Joe Bone who has been a huge hit with this one-man comedy plus live guitar soundtrack. Bane is set on the streets of a nondescript American city, akin to a Raymond Chandler crime novel spliced together with a Quentin Tarrantino movie. Bruce Bane is a tough-talking hired hand who shoots first and asks questions later. Joe Bone plays not only Bane but 78 other characters - the greatest number of characters played by a single actor in a theatre performance (Guinness Book of Records). Joe provides all the voices, sounds and action - no props, no set, no microphones. This is the show's only date in Co Durham and its first-ever showing in the North-East.
