Cotherstone is a delightful Dales village that has grown from an agricultural community and has been designated as a conservation area in order to help protect its character.
The Hall
Cotherstone Village Hall was built in 1883 as a Temperance Hall. In the last 15 years the hall has undergone a considerable modernisation programme. The size and layout of Cotherstone Village Hall make it an ideal choice for private and business functions.

Maximum Capacity: The large hall is suitable for 115 persons in theatre style or 80 in conference style. There are also two meeting rooms, each suitable for 25 people, with soft furnishings and coffee tables. Maximum 140 people in hall at any time.
Facilities: The hall has a refurbished stage with lighting. The modern kitchen facilities include a fridge, microwave and cooker. There are also toilet facilities accessible to all rooms.
Equipment: The hall has a good supply of chairs and tables and there is ample crockery and cutlery available. There is also a variety of sports equipment, whilst the stage lighting makes the hall an ideal choice for functions, parties and performances. To aid business users there is a photocopier, laminator and flip chart.
Parking: There is a designated car park with 10 spaces available. There are also 2 marked accessible parking spaces and other parking in the village.

Directions
Follow the B6277 from Barnard Castle over the County Bridge. Pass through Lartington and then Cotherstone is the next village. The village hall is next to the church and is well signposted.
